I had a great chat with Amana Moore from Durham University Art Society earlier this month - Amana is an artist and student at Durham who writes for DUAS and was interested in finding out about other artists in Durham. We talked about Street Gallery, Post Art and it was lovely to have a chance to look back on the work I've been doing this year - hoping that this leads to more collaborations too!

Art in the Post
DUAS have some brilliant activities for members, I especially like their Isolation Art Bundles which are a selection of art materials delivered to students in their halls or houses. This seems a great idea for people who want to get creative but can't get to a shop to buy materials – or want to try out some new techniques without spending money on full packs of pastels, charcoals etc – they even include Henna in the DUAS pack.
This makes me wonder if other people (who aren't students) would be interested in ordering something similar... What do you think – would you sign up and for a small fee (the DUAS is just £3) receive a pack of art materials to experiment with, and some activities to do while isolating or under lockdown? Please let me know in the comments below or on my Instagram @postart_uk – in the meantime I am off to order some Henna and do some experimenting!
